Arts Innovation and Management

Bloomberg Philanthropies Arts Innovation and Management (AIM) program seeks to build the capacity of small and mid-sized cultural organizations in Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Denver, New Orleans, Pittsburgh, and Washington, DC.

Previous AIM cities include Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco.


The Arts Innovation and Management program is part of the Bloomberg American Cities Initiative, a suite of investments that empower cities to generate innovation and advance policy that moves the nation forward.

Program Requirements

  • Participate in the AIM management program led by the DeVos Institute of Arts Management
  • Secure matching funds equaling 20% of the annual grant amount
  • Reach 100% participation in “give or get” fundraising by the Board of Trustees
  • Maintain up-to-date information on DataArts
